Abel works together with 1% For the Planet and donates 1% of their revenue to charities relevant to the production of their fragrances. For example, 1% of sales of the White Vetiver fragrances go to SOIL Haiti’s. They do important work in improving the sanitation of the community where the vetiver oil is sourced. Proceeds from Nurture, a fragrance for new and expectant mothers, support Abel Solar Sisters in Africa, which helps female entrepreneurs build sustainable businesses in their own communities. And in other areas, Abel is constantly working to mobilise positive change – such as planting trees, organizing beach clean-ups, campaigning for industry transparency and working with customers on sustainability issues.
