Sustainability is something Levi’s has been working on from day one. Living sustainably is about doing what is right for the planet and for each other. It’s about consuming consciously. Buying better, wearing longer.

Sustainability is in the DNA of Levi’s and in everything they do, from the way they do business and position themselves to how they respond to what the world, the company and people need. For Levi’s, progress means saving water, reducing waste and cutting emissions. They work hard to make their clothes better for the planet.

With Water<Less, a method of finishing denim with less water, Levi’s saves millions of litres of water and shows that they are aware that every drop counts. Since its launch in 2011, this innovative water-saving technology has helped save 3.5 billion litres of water. With this technology, Levi’s saves up to 96% of the water normally used in the finishing of denim, the final stage in the making of a pair of jeans.

In addition to its ongoing commitment to save and recycle water with Water<Less technology, Levi’s is now introducing a new range of water-saving, tree-friendly and waste-reducing styles, responsibly made using sustainable fibres and innovative technologies under the motto: better clothes, better choices, better planet.
